Roulette is a negative-expectation game. On a single-zero wheel the house keeps 2.703% of everything wagered, and that rate applies to every bet on the table without exception.

Martingale, Fibonacci, d'Alembert, pattern following, rotation, compounding — every one of these redistributes outcomes without changing the expected rate. A progression can trade many small wins for one large loss, or the reverse. It cannot manufacture a positive expectation.
