Limits are a feature, not a compromise
The engine enforces the limits you set before a session rather than asking you to hold the line during one. That is deliberate.

Set limits while you are calm
Decide your session stop loss, your profit target, and your time limit before you start, and let the software hold them. Every one of these is checked before a stake is placed, not after a breach.
A limit you can override mid-session is not a limit. If you find yourself raising one during a losing run, that is the signal to stop for the day.
Size the bankroll for the worst case, not the average
Before running a configuration, check its stop-loss runway: how many consecutive losses it absorbs before breaching your floor. Some configurations burn an entire stop loss in a single loss.
If the runway is shorter than you expected, lower the base stake or change the progression. The backtest reports this in seconds and costs nothing.
Never chase
Increasing stakes to recover a loss shortens the time to ruin without improving the expected outcome. The engine's progressions are fixed in advance for this reason and advance only on a settled, confirmed result.
If a session hits your stop loss, the session is over. Starting a new one immediately to win it back is chasing with extra steps.
Play with money that is already spent
A bankroll should be entertainment budget you have written off before you commit it. If losing it would change what you eat, where you live, or who you have to tell, it is not a bankroll.
Never borrow to fund play, and never fund play with money owed to someone else.
Take breaks and keep a record
Every round is logged: the stake, the placement, the settlement, and the reasoning. Review sessions afterwards, away from the table, when you can read the numbers without wanting them to say something.
Long unbroken sessions degrade judgement. Set a time limit alongside the money limits and let it end the session for you.
